Local Walks
Our Hotel is set in the village of Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall and just a short distance from the South West Coast Path. The Roseland Peninsula and South West Coast Path offer some of the best walking in Cornwall – if you are passing by en route along the Coast Path, then why not stop in for a quick drink or a bite to eat.

Heritage
The Shipwreck and Heritage Centre – Charlestown, St Austell
Said to be the largest private collection of shipwreck and historical artefacts on public display in Europe, it includes many items from a bygone age including finds from more than 150 shipwrecks.
Pendennis Castle – Falmouth
Built by Henry VIII to help defend England against possible attack by France and Spain. Enjoy the interactive exhibition and end your day with a Cornish Cream Tea in the Castle’s tea-rooms.
St Mawes Castle – St Mawes
Like its counterpart, Pendennis Castle it was built by Henry VIII on the opposite bank.

Seaside Ports
St Ives
Nestling amongst rich, magnificent coastal scenery, the cleanest beaches and scented sub-tropical gardens. There are cobbled streets full of history, legend and tradition that wind between pretty fisherman’s cottages. A magnitude of galleries and craft shops also grace the streets of St Ives.
Padstow
Traditionally a fishing port, Padstow is now a popular tourist destination. Although some of its former fishing fleet remains, it is mainly a yachting haven on a dramatic coastline.
Mevagissey
A traditional Cornish fishing village where you can wander the narrow alleyways and browse gift shops.
Fowey
Fowey is situated near the mouth of the River Fowey. It lies between Mevagissey and Looe. Its neighbouring town Polruan is situated across the estuary.

Each of the 18 individually designed hotel rooms at our Hotel has been created as exclusive spaces for your comfort and pleasure. Here you can expect comfy beds, crisp white sheets, fluffy towels and robes to help you relax and soak up the splendour of the lavish interiors.
Our spacious rooms all have luxury en-suite bathrooms and some have sea views. We have a number of rooms with balconies and some of the larger rooms have seating areas.
Our dual-aspect suite with a large walk-in shower and separate bath is ideal for special occasions. We also have a family suite with two interconnecting rooms with separate bathrooms.
Each room has a widescreen TV and Wi-Fi access.

We see some amazing local produce come through the doors every month here at our Hotel, Cornish strawberries, local asparagus, scallops from Mevagissey, and freshly landed hake from Looe to name but a few. We have 18 individually styled bedrooms and can host up to 80 of your guests for the wedding and formal meal. The Hotel can also accommodate up to 200 people for your evening reception.
Gorran Haven itself is ideal for a picturesque Cornish wedding. You can have your wedding photos taken on the beach or on the cliff overlooking the sea for an extra special reminder of this perfect Cornish location. Getting Married at our Hotel
The Hotel holds a wedding licence, so we can take care of your whole day. We can accommodate up to 80 guests and you have the option of having the hotel and grounds exclusively to yourselves for the day and/or the weekend.
The hotel can cater for up to 80 people in our Gwineas Bistro and up to 50 people in our Private Dining Room.
Whether you want to have your ceremony here or just the reception, we will work with you to create something truly special for your wedding day.
