Our hotel is a city hotel located in the center-south in the traditional Lennéviertel, surrounded by park-like trees and just 5 minutes by car from the main train station.

25 rooms are lovingly furnished and offer contemporary comfort for a restful night. Elevator, lounge and conference room, garage and garden terrace are available, friendly service characteristic.

The hotel garni offers a breakfast buffet and small gastronomic services (coffee, pastries, evening snack). Best restaurants in the city can be reached quickly from 4 minutes walk.

Varied leisure activities such as walking, jogging, cycling (bike rental - mediation by the hotel), swimming, tennis, golf and various fitness trainings are possible in sports and parks very close to the central hotel.

The hotel is an ideal starting point for walks through the Gründerzeit district and the historic Domviertel district. Worth seeing are the townhouses of Hasselbachplatz and Hegelstraße, the Magdeburg Cathedral, the Green Citadel (the Hundertwasserhaus), the Romanesque monastery, the banks of the Elbe and the Gesellschaftshaus in the Klosterberge garden.

Culture and nature lovers appreciate excursions along the "Romanesque Road", to the world heritage sites Quedlinburg, Wittenberg, Wörlitz as well as to Jerichow and Tangermünde. For cyclists, the Elbe Cycle Route, which is only 1km away from the hotel, is extremely popular.

Europe's largest waterway cross with the listed ship lift and the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben can be reached in 20 to 30 minutes and finally Berlin is just over an hour away from Magdeburg.

Magdeburg is the capital city, and the second largest city of the state ofSaxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the Elbe River.

Otto 1, the first Holy Roman Emperor and founder of the archbishopric of Magdeburg, was buried in the town's cathedral after his death. Magdeburg's version of German town law, known as Magdeburg rights, spread throughout Central Eastern Europe. Until 1631, Magdeburg was one of the largest and most prosperous German cities and a notable member of the Hanseatic League.

Magdeburg has been destroyed twice in its history. The Catholic League sacked Magdeburg in 1631, resulting in the death of 25,000 non-combatants, the largest loss of the Thirty Years' War. Allies bombed the city in 1945, destroying much of it.

Magdeburg is the site of two universities, the Otto von Guericke University and the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.

Magdeburg is situated on autobahn route 2, and hence is at the connection point of the East (Berlin and beyond) with the West of Europe, as well as the North and South of Germany. As a modern manufacturing center, the production of chemical products, steel, paper, and textiles are of particular economic significance, along with mechanical engineering and plant engineering, ecotechnology and life-cycle management, health management and logistics.

In 2005 Magdeburg celebrated its 1200th anniversary. In June 2013 Magdeburg was hit by record breaking flooding. Authorities declared a state of emergency and said they expected the Elbe river to rise higher than in 2002. In Magdeburg, with water levels of five metres (16 ft) above normal, about 23,000 residents had to leave their homes.
